Starting a new tank system (or rebuilding an empty tank):
For a 50-100 lb tank start with 10-15 lbs of lobsters, this level must be maintained. Adding too much lobster at one time will overload the tank causing the lobsters to die. Every 7 days you can double your capacity. It's best to purge the lobsters before introducing them into the tank: Take some of your tank water into a bucket (never wash your buckets with anything but water) and dunk lobsters in for 10 minutes. Partial water changes will help with ammonia problems.
